What does a day in the life look like for you as a mom, creative, and entrepreneur?
My days start early (around 5AM) so I can ensure I get in all my personal priorities: solitude and meditation, physical exercise, some nutrition (usually, a smoothie), and content. I try to get all these things done in the mornings so that I can give 100% of myself to my girls the latter half of the day. Together, we will read, paint, cook, cuddle, play outside, sing and dance, you name it. Luckily, my work allows me to be home full-time with my children, so they get a lot of me, but I do have a nanny to help support as I get in my morning practices that are meaningful to me as an individual.

Can you share how intentional living has influenced your daily routines, whether it’s how you nourish your body, shop for goods, or stay active?
There’s a saying: "how you do anything is how you do everything,” and I couldn’t agree more. With anything I do—whether it's making a salad, going on a walk, or buying linens—I do my best to have intention with my action and how it will serve me. Are my salad ingredients seasonal? How do they nourish me? How does it look on my plate? What do I listen to on my walk, if anything? Do I wear ankle weights and take a hill for added challenge, or do I go lighter on my body? How do I want my linens to look and feel? Aesthetically, I love the effortless look of linen, so I opt for a linen duvet, but I prefer the feel of cotton, so I pair my duvet with cotton sheets. Also, the fine details—like the hemstitch of SFERRA’s collections—was one simple way to add intentional beauty to my bedding.

As a creative, what are some of your favorite sources of inspiration when designing a space?
Nature, always. Perhaps that sounds cliche but nothing inspires me more than nature’s palette, its organic materials, its calming qualities. I try to bring nature’s beauty and energy to my space.

What tips do you have for other moms who want to create a stylish but practical home environment for their families?
This is a hot take, but I’m going to say it: invest in what you love, and don’t let children (or pets) hold you back. Maintain your environment, but don’t aim for perfection. Life isn’t perfect. Marble is meant to patina (and indeed, my daughter has put her mark on ours!), linen is bound to wrinkle, and various wear will occur.
In the past, I put my true preferences aside and bought so-called “resistant” materials, trying to perfect all conditions. Not only did those things wear (just like anything else would!), but they also never lit me up.
My advice: life is short, so buy what you love. Most things are fixable, and in the off-chance it can’t be fixed, lean into the beauty of life's imperfections.
You’ve shared your journey of growing and evolving every day. What personal practices have helped you continue on this path of self-improvement and mindful living?
Big believer that daily solitude is essential to our well-being. Energetically, we all need time and space to calm our nervous system and “check-in” with our minds and bodies. I carve out time every day to do this, and with this practice, I gain greater awareness of what I need as an individual to improve and evolve (creatively, physically, emotionally, spiritually). In essence, “doing nothing” is one of the most productive things I do for myself, because it’s the only time I have to access a deeper connection to my calling.
